Incredible achievements and the motivation of numerous amateur swimmers and prominent faces from sports, entertainment and television made this year's 24-hour swimming in favor of 'Licht ins Dunkel' a complete success again this year.

Altogether, the athletes swam approx. 110,000 lengths in the sports pool of the Parktherme Bad Radkersburg and thus won together not less than € 10,000 for 'Licht ins Dunkel'! This actively supported by enthusiastic fans and celebrity guests: In addition to the former ski icon Lizz Görgl, actor Andreas Kiendl, hit singer Leo Aberer, "Hot Chocolate" singer Greg Bannis or former team goalkeeper Andreas Schranz, moderator legend and mental coach Andreas Du Rieux and the reigning Miss Austria, Larissa Robitschko and star stylist Dieter Ferschinger in the service of the good cause.

The victory in the individual standings came after 24 gripping competition hours for the fifth time in a row, the Styrian defending champion Claudia Mueller with unbelievable 74.6 km floated, her new personal best, and in the men Gerald Brettenhofer with 73.6 kilometers. In the squadrons secured "mixed colorful" (women, 80.8 km), 'TRI Klosterneuburg 100' (mixed, 96.2 km) and "Iron Sharks" with sensational 112.3 kilometers and new relay record the victory. Licht ins Dunkel-Managing Director Eva Radinger (Licht ins Dunkel) was deeply impressed by the great motivation and the unique atmosphere of this swimming sport highlight.
